Bettiah : District Magistrate, West Champaran, Nilesh Ramchandra Crore, on receiving complaints, on October 13, 2018, night, conducted raid at Kotwali Chowk,Bettiah, the district headquarters, with his staff and seized two crtons of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from the house of Rina Devi. wife of Prakash Kumar. Official sources said that Prakash Kumar and his brother Vikash Kumar managed to escape but Rina Devi was arrested and sent to Bettiah jail on October 14.
