Bettiah : The construction of 17,310 dwelling houses for families living below poverty line (BPL) under Prime Minister & Indira Awas Yojana will be completed in West Champaran district by the first week of November 2018. All the beneficiaries of 18 blocks of the district will enter their respective houses simultaneously on November 7, 2018, coinciding with Deepawali.
Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), West Champaran, R N Prasad, said that the dwelling houses are nearing completion and will be handed over to the bebeficiaries on Deepawali. The houses will be equipped with all the basic amenities. Out of 17,310 dwelling units, 2,021 have been constructed under Bagaha -2 block.
