Ara: The Education department, Government of Bihar, on the direction of Patna High Court has asked the Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, administration to get all the students of B A Part I of 2015-16 session of seven affiliated colleges under the university registered. There registration numbers were not sent to their respective colleges. The education department has also asked the VKSU administration to ensure disciplinary action against the erring principals of such colleges and send its report to the department.
The VKSU administration had not sent the registration numbers of about 1,000 students of B A Part I of session 2015-2016 of Maharana Pratap College, Mohania, R S College, Tilauthu, B S College Hatachenari, Indu Tapeshwar Mahila College, Bikramganj, Girish Narain College, Parsathua, Ram Kishore Singh College, Dalmianagar, and Rajshri Shariwahan College, Kaimur, as these colleges had taken admission of students exceeding their allotted quota. As a result, these students were not allowed to fill up their examination forms this year. The affected students went on rampage and damaged college property and had also made the VC captive at his chamber bout a month back.
The university administration had suspended five employees and principals of to constituent colleges: Maharaja College and S B College, Ara, for the same reason. The affiliated college administration moved Patna High Court and the court asked the education department to act in the larger interest of students.
Meanwhile, VC, VKSU, Leela Chand Sah has asked all the affiliated colleges, which had sought permission from NCTE to start BEd teaching, to submit documents and papers to the Coordinator College Development Committee (CCDC) immediately.
