Two arrested with 72 bottles of liquor at Ara

Ara: Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raid in Old policeline, Bhawani Motors and Tari Mohalla locality under Town police station, Ara, on Wednesday and arrested Sanjay Kumar and Jitendra Singh, sons of Kanhaiya Singh, and seized 72 bottles of liquor of different brands. Both the the arrested persons lived just beside the Town Police Station. ASP (operations) Md. Sajid said that the liquor was dumped to be sold in Jharkhand. As he got information, he along with police force raided these areas.He said an FIR has been lodged with Town police station and the arrested persons were sent to jail. He said that raids are being continuously conducted done and liquor sellers or those consuming it would not be spared.
