Ara : Bhojpur police seized a truck carrying dozen cows and calves on August 19, 2018, night, and arrested its driver, khalasi, and a labourer. The arrested persons failed to show any paper when police asked for the same.

SHO, Hasan Bazaar Police Outpost, said that police during patrolling, intercepted a truck near Nonar Mor under the Police Outpost on Ara-Sasaram main road on August 19 night and found that it was carrying two dozen cows and calves. The SHO suspects that the cattle were being smuggled somewhere and it might be a case of animal trafficking. He said that an FIR was lodged in this connection and the arrested persons were being interrogated,
