Bagaha : A Royal Bengal Tiger, which styrayed out of the forest in West Champaran district three days back, has been spotted around village Borawl under Bagaha town police station triggering panic among villagers. The locals are not going to their field fearing attack by the tiger. This has affected the tilling of farm. Range Officer, Chiutaha forests range, Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR), Mahesh Prasad along with forest protection force has been camping in the area and making efforts so that the tiger returns to the forests.

Electrocuted : One Bandhu Yadaw of village Pokharabhinda under Bagaha police station was electrocuted to death on October 27 when he suddenly came in contact with a livewire near Tirhut canal. Sources said the high tension live wire was dangling there and Bandhu inadvertently touched it and was seriously injured. He was rushed to Bagaha Govrnment hospital where doctors  declared him brought dead.
