Patna: Police on Sunday arrested Shambhu Rai in connection with murder of Dr Afzal Ali, 55, Medical Officr, ESIC, Digha, Patna, on September 9 evening. He was shot dead by two bike borne criminals near Industrial Training Institute (ITI, from point blank range. Dr Ali was also running a nursing home at Digha. City SP (Central) Chandan Kushwaha told reporters that Dr Ali was killed after he had heated exchange with one of his tenants Rai. Bihar chapter of Indian medicalassociation (IMA) has strongly protested the murder of Dr Ali.
