Six arrested for firing on photojournalist’s son

Patna: Police arrested six persons on Sunday in connection with firing on Akash Dey, 20,  son of photojournalist Indrajit Dey, on September 10 morning on Bhootnath Road under Agamkuan police station, Patna. City SP ( Central), Patna, Chandan Kushwaha, said that the six arrested persons were being interrogated by the Special investigation team (SIT) constituted after the incident. Akash was shot at thrice at an Ayurvedic medical shop located on Bhoothnath Road. The medical shop is owned by his  family. Akash, a first year BCA student at a private college, is undergoing treatment at PMCH.
