Pathak shifted from Excise deptt, Subhani gets additional charge of Excise

Patna: K K Pathak, Principal Secretary, Excise and Prohibition department,who was unhappy over arrest of an excise sub-inspector for raiding the house  and arresting a block level JD(U) leader in Nalanda district, was removed on Sunday and asked to report to General Administration Department (GAD). His new posting has not been announced in the notification issued by the GAD on Sunday.  Pathak, a 1990 batch IAS officer, is, at present, on leave.
Principal Secretary, Home, Amir Subhani, has been given additional charge of Excise and prohibition department. Principal Secretary, Education department, D S Gangwar, has been shifted to GAD which was also held by Subhani.
Principal secretary, health, R K Mahajan will be new Principal Secretary of education department with additional charge of Resident commissioner in New Delhi.
Vivek Kumar Singh, Principal secretary of Environment and forest department, has been shifted to Revenue and land reforms department.Vyasji, Principal secretary, Revenue and land reforms, had sought voluntary retirement which has been  granted with effect from September 12. He is likely to be made vice-chairman of Disaster management authority.
Pratyay Amrit, Principal secretary , Energy, will hold additional charge of  Disaster management department.

Jitendra Srivastava, Secretary, state health society, has been moved to education department as Secretary while Shashibhushan Kumar, additional secretary, Animal and fishery resources department, has been given additional charge of additional secretary, Health.
