Bettiah : Jawans of SSB 44th battalion, Narakatiaganj, led by Area organiser PPK Sunder on May 18, 2017, arrested two smugglers identified as Mirtunjay Shah of village Pipara-Pakari under Shikarpur police station and Chhotelal Shah of Ramnagar under the same police station in West Champaran district with 10.5 kg of silver worth Rs 40 lakh and Rs 2 lakh cash at Narakatiaganj railway station junction under Samastipur division of East Central Railway, Hajipur.
Sources said that the smugglers were waiting to board a train at the station. The SSB handed over the smugglers and seized silver with cash to the Government railway police (GRP), Narakatiaganj, for necessary action the same day
