Ara : With a view to making students aware of the ecological imbalance and the need to preserve eco-system, Members of Swami Vivekanand Orphanage, Bhojpur, on August 6, 2018, launched a plantation programme.

They organized a meeting at the S D Blue Bell School in Jagdeonagar locality on August 6 morning and told the students and teachers about evils of ecological imbalance and green house effects. They also asked them not to use polythene bags and instead use dustbins for dumping garbage. They also stressed on importance of plantation. Later, at least 50 saplings of different trees were planted by the students of the school and members of the organization.

Anamika Kesari, a Member of the organization, said that children are future of the country and they should know how to preserve environment and keep their town neat and green. In the afternoon, 15 members of the Vivekanand Orphanage, Bhojpur, donated blood at the Red Cross Society.

Jyoti Kumari, Aditi Raj, Payal Patel, Parvati Kumari, Priya Gupta, Soni Kumari, Jai Prakash, Abhishek, Chandan, Karandeep, Kriti Kumari, Sneha, Shivani, Rahul Kumar were prominent among those addressing the students.
