Ara : A man committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of his room at his houser in Sital Tola locality under Ara Town police station (PS) on March 1, 2022, morning.
Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Anand Srivastava, son of late Ram Bachan Lal of Sital Tola. The deceased was a tailor. Family dispute is said to be the reason behind the incident. An FIR was lodged with Ara Town PS in this connection and police are investigating the matter.
SHO, Ara Town PS, said that Anand Srivastava had some family problem and was under tension for the last few months. After taking meal on February 28, 2022, night, Anand retired to his bedroom and did not come out of the room on March 1, 2022, morning. When his family members went to wake him up, they found his body hanging to the ceiling.
