Buxar: A class X girl of village Atimi under Navanagar police station in Buxar district has allegedly been kidnapped by a youth from the village Kismat Kamkar to marry her. An FIR was lodged with Navanagar police station against Kismat Kamkar of the same village on May 14, 2017.
Krishnakant Kamkar said that his daughter is a student of class X at Inter level High School, Navanagar. She had gone to take examination on April 27, 2017, but she did not return till late evening. The family members searched for her but in vain. In the meantime, they came to know that Kismat Kamkar, son of Bheem Kamkar, was also missing. On query, it was detected that Kismat Kamkar had allegedly kidnapped the girl with a view to marrying her.
SHO, Navanagar police station, Rajeev Ranjan said that a named FIR had been lodged against Kismat Kamkar and police were investigating into the matter and hoped that the accused would be arrested soon.
