Rohtas police arrest kidnapper from Nalanda

Sasaram : Rohtas police arrested a kidnapper Sandeep Kumar from Nalanda on April 27, 2019,  and sent him to jail. Police also recovered the woman Sandeep Kumar had kidnapped from there.

SHO, Dawath police station in Rohtas district, Shashi Bhushan Prasad, said that Sandeep Kumar of village Matepur under Chandi police station in Rohtas district decoyed and kidnaped a married woman from village Kowath under Dawath police station on March 16, 2019. A named FIR was lodged with Dawath police station in theconnection.

After institution of FIR, police swung into action and on the basis of mobile tower surveillance, they reached Nalanda and arrested Sandeep Kumar and recovered the kidnapped woman. He said that police also brought the woman to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will produce her before the court to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC on April 29, 2019.
