Police recover two missing teenage girls from Dumraon, Buxar

Buxar : Police recovered two teenage girls and also arrested their lovers from Dumraon under the same police station in Buxar district on April 24, 2019. Police sent the two boys to jail and brough the girls over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for their medical examination and also produced them before the Buxar Civil Court to get their their statements registered under Section 164 of CrPC.

SHO, Dumraon police station, said that Raja Babu Kumar Ram alias Pappu Ram, son of Ashok Ram of village Lakhandihara under Dumraon police station worked in a private company in a foreign country. He developed friendship with an Intermediate student, daughter of Nand Kumar Ram of dalit Tola at Lakhandihara, and kidnapped her in December 2018 with a view to marrying her. A named FIR was lodged with  Dumraon police station in connection with the kidnapping of the girl.

In another incident, Vishal Kumar, son of Premnath Kharwar of Shaheed Mahal locality under Dumraon police station, kidnapped a teenage girl in his neighbourhood for marrying her December 2018. A named FIR was lodged with Dumraon police station on the statement of the mother of the girl.

The SHO said that after lodging of FIRs, police swung into action to recover the girls and arrest their lovers. On April 24, 2019, morning, police got information that the girls along with their lovers were seen at Dumraon. Police soon recovered the girls and arrested their lovers from Dumraom.
