Police recover three bodies from canal in Rohtas

Sasaram : Rohtas police fished out bodies of a woman and two minor girls from a canal in between Gopalpur and Kharaihi villages under Bhanas police outpost on March 26, 2019, morning, and brought them over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The  three deceased are yet to be identified.

SHO, Bhanas police outpost, Subhash Kumar, said that the villagers informed police that three bodies were floating in the  canal. Police swung into action and fished out  body of a middleage woman from the canal at Gopalpur bridge and bodies of two minor girls, one of them about 14 year old and another 4 year old, from the canal at Kharaihi village. The SHO said that someone had killed them one day back ago and threw the bodies into the canal to erase evidence.
