Police recover missing teenage girl from Bikramganj

Sasaram : Rohtas police recovered a missing teenage girl from Bikramganj in Rohtas district on August 4, 2017, and produced her before a court at Bikramganj to get her statement recorded under section 164 of Cr PC. Police also brought the girl over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital on August 5 for her medical examination. Later, the girl’s boyfriend Rakesh Singh surrendered before the Bikramganj court the same day and was sent to jail.

SHO, Suryapura police station (PS), Dhirendra Yadav said that a teenage girl disappeared from her house at village Padaria under Suryapura police station on June 26, 2017. Her father Mohan Ji Singh had lodged filed a named FIR against Rakesh Singh of the village charging him with  kidnapping his daughter with a view to marrying her.
