Ara : Police recovered a girl from Ara railway station on September 28, 2018, evening though her lover could not be arrested. Police brought her over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination and will produce her before the court to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC.
SHO, Nawada police station, Ara, said that marriage of the Ara girl had been fixed but she did not like the bridegroom and refused to marry with him. When her father put pressure on her to marry the man selected by him, she fled away away with her lover Babloo Paswan on September 13, 2018, and tied the knot with him at a temple at Koelwar in Bhojpur district. Her father lodged an FIR with Nawada police station alleging his daughter had been regarding kidnapped. After institution of FIR, police swung into action and recovered the girl from Ara railway station.
