Bhabhua : Police recovered two rice laden trucks from Mohania in Kaimur district on April 17, 2019, arrested six truck hijackers, seized a Scorpio, and six mobile phone though the mastermind of the gang Anuj Kumar escaped from the scene.
Kaimur SP Dilnawaz said that some miscreants had hijacked two trucks loaded with rice from the campus of Mohania Bazaar Samiti on April 7, 2019. The rice was meant for a Primary Agriculture Credit Society (PACS). An FIR was lodged with Mohania police station in this regard after which police conducted raids at different places.
The SP said that on information, police recovered the trucks from Mohania and arrested six truck hijackers. Police also seized a Scorpio and six mobile phones. He said that the arrested criminals were identifies as Arvind Pal, Suraj Kumar alias Bamboo of Lalapura under Kudaa police station, Vikas Kumar of Mewada under Kudra police station in Kaimur district, Rakesh Pal of Bhadokhara village under Darigaon police station in Rohtas district, Pradeep Kumar and Shiv Ji Prasad of Jaso Road under Muffassil police station in Buxar district. The SP said that all the six arrested criminals were sent to jail after interrogation. Police are conducting raids to arrest the mastermind of the gang, he added.
