Police arrest 5 liquor smugglers in Bhojpur

Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, seized 59 pouches of countrymade liquor and two bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a three-wheeler near a canal at Sakari village under Hasanbazaar police outpost on June 6, 2017, evening.

Police also arrested five liquor smugglers: Jai Prakash, Raju Kumar, Nagendra Kumar and Dudhnath Paswan of Madhutola under Suryapura police station, Rohtas, and Jitendra Kumar of Belwai village under Karakat police station in Rohtas district. A named FIR was lodged in this connection under New Excise Act and the arrested persons were forwarded to jail, said the SHO, Hasanbazaar police outpost, Narednra Kumar.
