Police arrest 2 bike snatchers in Buxar, seize stolen bike

Buxar : Buxar police,  on a tip off, arrested two bike-snatchers : Rohit Singh, son of Laxman Singh of village Saath,  and Sudhanshu Kumar alias Abhay Verma, son of Niranjan Kumar Verma of village Manoharpur under Itadhi police station, and also seized a stolen motorcycles and two mobile phones from their possession on April 21, 2019. Police sent them to Buxar jail after interrogation.

SDPO, Satish Kumar, said that Sunil Kumar,son of Ram Narayan Patel of village Khakhadahi under Itadhi police station in Buxar district ,was coming to his native village on his motorcycle from village Bhitihara on March 24, 2019. When he reached at a bridge near village Mitanpurava, two motorcycle borne armed miscreants snatched his motorcycle and two mobile phones at pistol point and escaped.

An FIR was lodged with Itadhi police station in this regard. Police, on the basis of scientific investigation, got the clue about the bike-lifters and arrested Rohit Singh and Sudhanshu Kumar alias Abhay Verma along with the stolen motorcycle and two mobile phone. The SDPO said the arrested bike lifters are students and had the entered the world of crime to earn easy money.
