Police arrest 10 criminals in Champaran Range

Bettiah : DIG, Champaran Range, Lallan Mohan Prasad, while addressing a presser at Bettiah on September 15, 2018, said that  during the last one week police arrested ten persons wanted in heinous criminal cases. They were forwarded to judicial custody to Motihari and Bettiah district  jails.

Saddam Hussain of Chakia, Radha Yadav of Sugauli, Pradhuman Mishra of Pipara, Dhannu Tiwari of Areraj were wanted in murder cases lodged with police stations in East Champaran district (Motihari) and were arrested by police. Anil Kumar of Chalkia wanted in a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act case and Rakesh Sahni an accused of SC/ST Act case were also arrested, the DIG said. West Champaran police arrested four persons  in loot cases from Station Chowk, Bettiah, and Jogapatti.
