Ara : One person was killed while two others including a minor girl were injured when their a motorcycle collided head on with a speeding bike near a petrol pump at Dhobighat under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district, on August 30, 2018, morning.
Plice brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there but the doctors at the hospital referred them injured to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of their critical condition.
SHO, Nawada police station, said that Ajit Kumar Pandey, son of Sunil Pandey of Badaka Gaon village under Dhangai Town police station along with his cousin brother Anil Upadhayay, son of Muralidhar Upadhayay of Baisadih village under Hasan Bazaar Police Outpost, and niece Sakshi, 7, was going to Ara. When they reached near Petrol pump at Dhobighat under Nawada police station, their motorcycle collided head on with another motorcycle in which Ajit Kumar Pandey died on the spot.
