Saharsa : Pappu Thakur, son of Umesh Thakur of village Bara Lalganj in Saharsa district, died and two other persons were injured when an autorickshaw carrying passengers beyond its capacity turned turtle between Visvesaraya Chowk and Kendriya Vidyalaya under Sadar Police Station, Saharsa, on October 17, 2017, evening.
The auto driver escaped after the mishap. Police soon reached the spot and rushed the two injured identified as Surendra Kumar of village Sihoul and Pramod Rai of village Tulsiahi to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa. Police seized the auto.
