Ara : The 7th Annual Function and Annual Sports Prize Distribution Ceremony of New Kids Foundation School, Ara, were organised on the school campus on December 26, 2018. Secretary, Bhojpur District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Narendra Kumar, Superintendent, Sadar Hospital, Ara, Dr Satish Kumar Sinha, District President, Bihar Health Service Assocation (BHSA), Bhojpur chapter, Dr Arun Kumar, Social Worker, Bhai Barmeshwar, and Managing Director of the School, Poonam Pandey jointly inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial candle.
N K Pandey, Principal, New Kids Foundation School, presided over the function while Poonam Pandey, Managing Director, of the school extended vote of thanks.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest, Narendra Kumar, Secretary, DLSA, appreciated the efforts of the school in organising such a grand programme despite limited resources that too with little kids of the school. He said discipline in every aspect of life is necessary as it is the key for development, success and progress. He wished to open a legal study centre at the school so that the students could learn and know about their legal rights. He especially drew attention of the gathering towards a play performed by the students of the school about misuse of mobile phone. He said that the play attacked sarcastically the use of mobile phone by people whether they are driving, operating, talking, praying, and also left a message at the end of the play that indiscriminate use of mobile phone might be disastrous.
Dr Satish Kumar Sinha, Superintendent, Sadar Hospital, also praised performance of little kids and motivated them with his poems dedicated to them.
Dr Arun, president BHSA, while appreciating the performance, also asked the students to also concentrate on their study apart from spending some time on sports, game and extracurricular activities. He asked the school administration that he and his colleagues are ready to organize health check-up camp for the benefit of the students if the school administration wishes so. Bhai Barmeshwar, Prof Ranvijay Sinha, N K Pandey, and Poonam Pandey also addressed the school students.
Earlier, students of the New Kids Foundation School mesmerised the gathering by their performance particularly students of LKG, UKG and Class 2. All the programmes were choreographed by Soumya, a teacher of the school. Later, the successful students at different events of sports were given prizes.
