Nandkishore says public grievance cells hardly attending to complaints

Patna: Senior BJP leader and chairman of Public Accounts Committee of Bihar legislature Nand Kishore Yadav on Monday regretted the Public Grievances resolution offices opened at sub-divisional and district headquarters since June 5 have failed to solve the problems of the people.In a statement here, Yadav said since June 5 over 25,000 complaints against government departments were received at different grievance cells but so far only 5,000 grievances have been attended.
Yadav said by closing down his weekly Janata Darbar on Mondays, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has betrayed the people who were assured of some action at Darbar.He recalled the Janata Darbar of the CM was attended by all the ministers when BJP was sharing power with the JD(U). Majority of the grievances were solved on the spot by the ministers or officers concerned, he said,
