Ara: Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh on Monday said that he would not allow Bihar to become another Karona of Utter Pradesh and Bangladesh at any cost and would go to any extent to defeat the evil intention of the state government in this regard.
The union minister said the incident at Ranisagar in Bhojpur district, a serious incident, was the result of political policy of the pseudo seculars and vote politics and they might go to any extent merely for vote. He said CM Nitish Kumar claims that his was the government of the poor but only the poor and the backwards were looted and their shops were set ablaze in the presence of police at Ranisagarators, said the minister on his return from trouble torn Ranisagar under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district where two communities had clashed recently and tension prevails there after a youth allegedly posted an objectionable comment on the Facebook on Eid day. He lamented that not a single government representative has visited the area. He said that the secular babu (Nitish Kumar) kept mum while the poor of a particular community were being beaten up and their establishments set afire. Singh. Giriraj alleged the CM was now trying to make Bihar another Karona and Bangladesh.
The Union Minister said that neither the DSP nor the SDM turned up when he invited them to discuss Ranisagar issue and also did not give him a Xerox copy of the FIR. He said the that the police lodged unnamed FIR against 200 persons and demanded of them to disclose their names. He alleged that the Bhojpur district administration, at the behest of state government, was trying to erase the evidence to save the main culprits. He wondered as to why the police had not yet arrested the instigators and suppliers of Kerosene oil. He demanded a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to those who suffered in the incident besides security to them.
State BJP spokesperson and former MLA from Sandesh Sanjay Singh Tiger said that the Ranisagar incident was an outcome of policy of appeasement of the state the government towards a particular community.
