Ara : Police, on a tip off, arrested Arvind Kumar Mahto from village Udwantnagar under the same police station in Bhojpur district on September 19, 2018, late evening, in connection with murder of one Mohan Musahar and sent him to jail.
SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that someone had killed Mohan Musahar, son of Jahil Musahar of village Udwantnagar, and police had recovered the body from a field near the village on September 18 night. He said that a named FIR was lodged with Udwantnagar police station against Arvind Kumar Mahto of the village.
The SHO said that police conducted raids at Udwanatnagar village on September 19 night and arrested Arvind Kumar Mahto from a house. Arvind Kumar Mahto confessed before police that he and the deceased were friend but he killed him over a trivial, the SHO added.
