Ara : Bhojpur police produced a girl before Ara Civil Court on August 7, 2018, to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC and also brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. Police had recovered her from Piro Bazaar under Piro police station on August 3, 2018.
Investigating Officer (IO) Dinesh Paswan said that the girl, a resident of Piro under Piro police station, had eloped with a youth of the same area about three months ago. They tied the knot and lived in Patna. The father of the girl had lodged an FIR with Piro police station alleging his daughter had been kidnapped.
Police soon swung into action. On August 3, police got information that both had come to Piro. Police recovered the girl near Piro Dharmshala and arrested the youth near Piro Cooperative Bank. Later the police sent the youth to jail.
