Missing Buxar businessman in Cuttack

Buxar: Police heaved a sigh of relief after they got information about a missing businessman’s whereabouts on Saturday. The missing businessman Surendra Kumar Singh is in Cuttack and will return in a day or two, police said.

DSP, Buxar, Shaishav Kumar said that Siddhi Singh, wife of  businessman Surendra Kumar Singh under Industrial Area police station in Buxar district had given a petition to Buxar Town police station that her husband was missing since August 4 after he went on morning walk.

The DSP said that Surendra Kumar Singh had taken Rs 3 crore in advance from a Hyderabad based company for supply of boiler but he could not supply the boiler even after lapse of the promised time in September 2015. The owner of the Hyderabad company came to his house in Buxar and pressurised him either to supply the boiler or return his money and the businessman, in his bid to avoid him, fled away and went to Cuttack without informing anyone in his family. The DSP said that he quizzed Siddhi Singh who admitted that her husband was in Cuttack. The DSP himself talked to the businessman on mobile and he promised to return within two days.
