Mishra and Lalu mourn Lt Gen Sinha

Patna: Former chief ministers Jagannath Mishra and Lalu Prasad have mourned former Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Lt  Gen S K Sinha who died in New Delhi on November 17.
Dr Mishra, in a statement on November 18, said Gen Sinha, born in a village near Naubatpur in Patna district, rose to become the vice chief of Indian army and was honoured with PVSM for his gallanatry. He was a great thinker too, Mishra said.
Lalu, in his message, recalled contributions of Gen Sinha in war against Pakisttan and said Gen Sinha exclled as Governor and ambassador too. He had made a maiden attempt to enter politics by contesting Lok Sabha elections from Patna in 1984, Lalu said.
