Patna : Rajesh, a resident of Shahpur, was thrown into river Ganga after an auto collided with pillar number-22 on JP Setu, connecting Patna with Sonepur (Saran) on August 6, 2018, afternoon. On getting information, Sonepur police reached the spot.
Police said that some locals carrying baskets of guavas were sitting on roof of a three-wheeler and were on way to Patna to sell them. As the auto reached near pillar number-22, the three-wheeler went out of control and dashed against the pillar. Rajesh fell into the river from the auto.
Later, police and SDRF team reached the spot and started a search for the youth but had not been able to locate him till evening.
