Man murdered near Gurawalia bridge in W Champaran

Bettiah : Butayee Ram, 32, son of Bahadur Ram of village Gurawalia under Manuyapul police station under Bettiah Sub-division in West Champaran was killed by miscreants with a sharpedged weapon on September 13, 2017, night near Gurawalia Madrassa bridge. Police arrested Bachcha Pandey, son of Keshwar Pandey of village Gurwalia arrested in this connection.

SDPO, Bettiah, Sanjay Kumar Jha said that the body was handed over to the family members of the deceased after autopsy. Gyanti Devi, widow of deceased, has lodged an FIR with police in this connection. Police are investigating into the icident. Sudarshan Ram, brother of the deceased, has alleged involvement of his associates in his murdered.
