Six notorious criminals arrested in W Champaran

Bettiah: A special police team led by SHO, Sikata police station in West Champaran district, Vimalendu Kumar, on September 9, 2017, evening arrested six notorious criminals from Kaithawalia Chowk under Chanpatia police station in the district when they planning to loot of cash van. The arrested criminals were identified as Dilip Sah, Bhola Mahto, Safruddin Ansari, Sandip Tiwari, Chikhuri Chaudhary and Munna Ansari.

Sources said that West Champaran SP Vinay Kumar had received secret information about planning of criminals and he formed a special police team to foil the design of the criminals. The leader of the team SHO  Vimalendu Kumar said that three countrymade pistols, 5 live rounds and four mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the arrested criminals. He said that all the arrested criminals had come out of jail within a month after being granted bail by different courts. Their kingpin Krishna Ram of village Piparakothi, Motihari, in East Champaran is still in Motihari jail.
