Ara : A 35 year old person was crushed to death by a speeding Pick-Up near village Dhauri under Sahar police station on November 19, 2018, afternoon when he had gone to the market. The irate villagers blocked the road near Dhauri village with the body paralysing movement of vehicles. They were demanding arrest of the driver of the Pick-Up van and a compensation of Rs. 10 lakh to the deceased’s family. The blockade was lifted after positive response from police officials. Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem.
