Labourer dies in accident at Bihia

Ara : A labourer was crushed to death by a speeding dumper at Bihia roundabout on Ara-Buxar road under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on May 13, 2019. police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Santosh Lal of Jharkhand. An FIR has been lodged with Bihia police station in this connection.

SHO, Bihia police station, said that Santosh Lal of Jharkhand was a daily wage earner and was working on the road at Bihia roundabout when a speeding dumper dashed him and escaped. The other labourers rushed him to Ara Sadar Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
