Two youth killed, 1 injured in Buxar road mishap

Buxar : Two youth were killed and one injured in a mishap on Dumrao-Bikramganj main road near village Sughardera under Koransarai police station in Buxar district on May 13, 2019, evening.

Police brought the bodies over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured to the Sub-Divisional Hospital, Dumraon, but the doctor referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital.

SHO, Koransarai police station, said that three youth : Gopal Yadav, son of Shivshankar Yadav of Kharhatadh, Lal Chand Yadav, son of Laxman Yadav of Kathar under Simari police station, and Mallik Yadav, son of Sitaram Yadav of Ahirauli village in Buxar district, had gone to Renka Pandeypur under Navanagar block in Buxar district to attend the marriage ceremony on May 12, 2019.

After attending the marriage ceremony, all the three youths were returning on a motorcycle on May 13. When they reached near village Sughardera on Dumrao-Bikramganj main road some cattle came in way. In their bid to save the cattle, the motorcycle skidded and all the three fell into a ditch in which Gopal Yadav and Lal Chand Yadav were killed while Mallik Yadav was injured, the SHO added.
