Indira Awas beneficiaries meet Bagaha SDM

Bagaha : Sixty Indira Awas (IA) beneficiaries of Bhairoganj panchayat under Bagaha-1 block in West Champaran district led by Tunnu Pandey, a member of panchayat samiti Bhairogaj, met SDM, Bagaha, Dharmendra Kumar, on April 10 and allegedly levelled charges of irregularities against BDO Anand Kumar Vibhuti and an Indra Awas assistant Ashok K Yadav in allotment of housing units.

They alleged that Ashok Yadav had collected Rs 10,000 from each beneficiary on behalf of the BDO for allotting the housing units. The SDM took the matter seriously and has called the BDO of Bagaha-1 block and staff concerned and Indira Awas beneficiaries of the panchayat at his office on April 12, 2017, to look into the matter.
