In-laws thrash woman & snatch her son for dowry at Bhojpur village, FIR lodged

Ara : A named FIR has been lodged with Bahoranpur police outpost against Akhilesh Bin of Chaghat village, his father  Raghubir Chaudhary, mother Manju Devi, and some relatives : Shyam Narayan Chaudhary, Ram Narayan Bin, Ram Ayodhya Bin, Anupa Devi of Jaan Tola under Rivilganj police station in Saran district for allegedly thrashing Suganti Devi and snatching her son.

SHO, Bahoranpur police outpost, Manish Kumar, quoting the FIR, said that Suganti Devi was married to Akhilesh Bin in  2015 and has a two- and- half-month son. Meanwhile, her in-laws demanded motorcycle and cash and started torturing her. Her brother and maternal uncle took her to their home. Later, her in-laws reached her parents’ house and used vulgar words and also thrashed her and her family members and snatched her minor son and took him with them saying that the child would not be returned till their demands of motorcycle and cash were fulfilled. The SHO said that police are investigating the matter.
