Elderly person drowns to death in ditch at Bhojpur village

Ara : A sixty year old man fell into a water filled ditch and drowned at village Damodarpur under Bahoranpur police outpost in Bhojpur district on October 14, 2019.

Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Chaturi Paswan 60, father of Santosh Paswan, Member, Ward No 7, Damodarpur panchayat, under Bahoranpur police outpost.
SHO, Bahoranpur police outpost, Manish Kumar said that Chaturi Paswan had gone to Damodarpur Bridge to attend call of nature on October 14 morning but fell into a water filled ditch and drowned to death. When he did not return, his family members searched for him and found him dead in the ditch. An FIR has been lodged with Bahoranpur police outpost in this regard.
