Girl drowns to death in river Ganga in Buxar

Buxar : A teenage girl drowned to death in river Ganga in Buxar district on June 22, 2018, evening while taking a dip. The villagers fished out the body and informed police, who brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Priyanka Kumari.

Priyanka Kumari along with her mother and elder sister had gone to take a dip in river Ganga at Keshopur Ganga ghat under Tilak Rai ka Hata police station on June 22 evening. While taking bath Priyanka Kumari swam to some distance but was trapped in fast current and drowned in the river.
