Ara : A case of sexual exploitation of an unmarried girl by the brother-in-law (devar) of her elder sister for the last one year has come to light and a named FIR was lodged with Sandesh police station in this connection on June 21, 2017.
Reena Kumari of village Pandura under Sandesh Police Station was married to the son of Dwarika Sao of Dehri-on-Sone in Rohtas district in 2009. Her brother-in-law (devar) Ranjeet frequently visited his sister-in-law (bhabi)’s native village Pandura and fell in love with her younger sister. Both allegedly developed physical relation. The girl’s family members did not object to it thinking that the boy might marry the girl. When they approached Dwarika Sao in this connection, he demanded Rs 3 lakh as dowry. At this the family members of the girl lodged a named FIR withr Sandesh Police Station against three persons including Dwarika Sao.
