BSFCSC stays supply of rice to PDS dealers in Bhojpur

Ara : Bihar State Food and Civil Supply Corporation (BSFCSC) on June 23, 2017, stayed supply of rice to the Public Distribution System (PDS) dealers in all the 14 blocks in Bhojpur district. District Manager (DM), BSFCSC, Bhojpur, Rakesh Kumar Jha said the Bihar BSFCSC has stayed supply of rice to the PDS system in all the 14 blocks till an on going inquiry into alleged supply of rotten rice  is over.

Jha said that the SFC had received a number of complaints alleging that poor quality and rotten rice was supplied to the PDS through the corporation. Barahra MLA Saroj Yadav had also complained the DM, BSFCSC, in this connection. Jha said that he himself inquired into the matter and sent his report to the senior officials of the SFC and the action was taken on his report. He added that the inquiry was  going on and guilty will not be spared.
