Buxar : Director, Secondary Education, Bihar, served a show cause notice on the District Education Officer (DEO), Buxar, for his failure to submit service folders of seven school teachers despite several reminders. The Director, Secondary Education, in a letter dated November 13, 2017, asked the DEO, Buxar, to explain as to why he did submit the folders related to their promotion of school teachers on time despite several reminders.
Due to failure on part of the DEO, the promotion of the teachers concerned was still pending. From Buxar district, folders of 54 teachers had to be submitted for consideration of their promotion but the DEO has so far submitted folders of 47 teachers only. The folders of 7 teachers has not yet been submitted.
The teachers whose folders has not yet been submitted are: Gupteshwar Singh of High School, Buxar, Surendra Singh, High School Kathar, Akhilesh Rai, Ganga Adarsh High School, Dihari, Govind Lal Mishra, High School Ataw, Dinanath Ram, Raj High School, Dumraon, Ashok Kumar Tiwari, High School, Buxar, and Kamal Shankar Yadav, High School, Nunez in Buxar district.
Regional Deputy Director Education (RDDE), Patna, Chandrashekhar Singh, said that proposal for disciplinary action against the DEOs has been sent to the office of Director, Secondary Education.
