Sitamarhi: Three unidentified armed criminals looted Rs 1.35 lakh cash from Bittu Kumar, an employee of Sonbarsa based Spice Distributor Mukesh Kumar, near village Laxmipur under Sonbarsa police station in Sitamarhi district on October 7, 2017.
Bittu was on weekly collection round. When he was returning to Sonbarsa on his bike, the three criminals waylaid him near village Laxmipur and snatched the bag containing Rs 1.35 lakh from him at gun point. The criminals also punctured the tyres of his bike. SHO, Sonbarsa police station, Pramod Kumar Paswan visited the place of occurrence but police are yet to arrest any criminal involved in the cash loot.
