Ara : Hundreds of activists of the CPI (ML) took out a procession from their office near eastern railway crossing at Ara on October 11, 218, that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at the gate of the office of the Bhojpur District Magistrate in protest against the drive launched by the district administration to remove encroachments. The activists also staged demonstration in front of the office of the DM and raised slogans against the district administration.

CPI(ML) leader Amit Kumar Bunty said that the Bhojpur district administration wants to render homeless the poor  in the name of anti-encroachment drive. He said that district administration has been carrying out anti-encroachment drive for the last one week rendering homeless the poor living on government land for the last several years. He said the administration has not made alternative arrangement to rehabilitate these poor families somewhere else.
