All India Advocate Jam Morcha stages dharna at Ara

Ara : Dozens of advocates, political leaders, social workers, doctors, teachers, and intellectuals staged a day long dharna in front of the old Collectorate Office on October 9, 2018, under the banner of All India Advocate Jan Morcha to press their charter of demands. Advocate Jitendra Kumar led the dharna.

Their main demands include withdrawal of rights to issue licenses to advocates assigned to the DM by the Apex Court, shifting of the offices of the Bhojpur DM, SDO and ADM and the Remand Home to the old building, lavatory and urinal on Ara civil court campus for advocates and clients, proper seating arrangement for advocates on the court premises, presence of doctors on the court campus, creation of Shahabad Division, band inclusion of Bhojpuri language in the VIIIth schedule of the Indian Constitution.
