Ara : Hundreds of activists of the CPI(ML) on January 19, 2018, took out a procession from Ara Ramana Maidan that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at Ara Block Office where they staged demonstration demanding education, health, land, foodgrains kerosene oil and houses for the poor. They were raising slogans against Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and the Bhojpur district administration for their indifferent attitude towards the plight of poor and dalits.
The CPI(ML) leaders said that Nitish Kumar was touring the state in connection with his ‘Vikas Samiksha Yatra’ while no progress is visible anywhere. They alleged that the Bhojpur district administration was misusing the public money. They said that the Vikas Samiksha Yatra and proposed formation of human chain was just a political gimmick.
