Ara : Some armed miscreants shot at and injured a businessman Shyamnandan Singh at village Majhaua under Ara Town police station on March 27, 2019, early morning. Police admitted him to the Sadar Hospital, Ara. Ara Town police station lodged an FIR in this connection on the statement of the injured businessman. Old enmity is said to be the reason behind the incident.
SHO, Ara Town police station, said that Shyamnandan Singh of village Majhaua has an auto parts shop near Nagari Pracharini Sabhagar and he was sitting at the gate of his house when some armed miscreants shot at him.
Abhijeet alias Mintu, son of the injured businessman, said that one person was killed at the village three years ago for taking liquor and the name of his father was falsely implicated in the case and so his family was out of their village for about two years. He said that four months back they returned and were living at their house at Majhaua.
