Patna: A delegation of BRICS Policy Planning Dialogue on Tuesday called on Bihar governor Ram Nath Kovind at Raj Bhawan.
The governor acquainted the members of the delegation with historical and cultural heritage of Bihar and informed them about places of historical importance likes Bodh Gaya, Gaya, Rajgir, Pawapuri, Vaishali, Nalanda and Vikramshila. He said tht these places had played an important role in India’s cordial relation with foreign countries. The governor said in smaller groups differnt countries can understand the challenges facing them and find ways to develop with mutual co-operation.
The delegation expressed its satisfaction over the organisation of BRICS Policy Planning Dialogue at Patna. The delegation comprised Michl Arslanian, Brazil, Oleg Stepanov, Russia, Santosh Jha, India, Wang Wenbin, China, and David Malcolmson, South Africa.
